Home Within

OBSERVING HOME
Home is a place that comforts us. It is a place where we feel accepted and safe. This place of home is something we yearn for our entire life. If we did not grow up in a safe home environment we strive to build a safe home for ourself. And if we did grow up in a safe home, we often go back when the weight of the world becomes too heavy to comprehend. But all homes built on the outside if not created consciously within first will inevitably become a prison. This physical home place is made up of the expectations of others and a comfort zone that becomes hard to step out of.
THE TRAP
When we come of age to provide a physical home for ourself away from guardianship, whether if we rent or become a home owner, we are faced with the reality that this home is only ours for the time in which we are able to provide funds and labor to continuously maintain it. This idea of having a home only to possibly lose it, is a trap of the mind. It makes us fearful of losing what is important to us. Everything in this physical world is fleeting because it is an illusion like a mirage.

ATTACHMENT
Our attachment to this world hinders us from understanding that the physical world is not real. Our attachments make us hold on to the thought of home from the outside. When we hold on to people, places, or things because it comforts us on the outside, our peace lies with those things that are not real. Therefore, the peace we feel is not real. The fear of not being with those things keeps us stagnant and in a prison of our own creation.
From this outward thought of home we are constantly trying to build a sanctuary that comforts us. When we go outside of that sanctuary we created, we feel the need to put on a mask to be accepted and comfortable for others. By putting on this mask we are uncomfortable with ourself. Many of us that grew up in a stable home find ourself going back home as an adult for support. We go back home with the intention to rebuild our strength to step out again. However, when we get back home, the stability that we feel is there can become a crush that turns into a prison. This prison is that same prison that is formed even if we don’t go back home to live and instead created a physical home for ourself. The moment we create a place of solitude without before creating a home within, it becomes a prison because it is not where we belong, it is an illusion.

AS SPIRIT
When we find our home within, it will never be able to be taken away because it is eternal as the place of God. When we find home within we drop the attachments we have to what we feel makes a home. Once we find our home within, there is nothing we need to comfort us but ourself and every space we enter we are at home because we are the home. No matter what or who we lose, the peace we feel will come from within unconditionally.
The act of building a home is one of the mind in connection to Spirit. It does not require hard work and a “reliable income”. The only thing that is required is for us to know ourself. The knowing as God is the most stable foundation that we can stand on. From this foundation our world can be built so that no matter where we go, we are home. The idea of going back home is the idea of going back to what we are and came from which is God.

The reason why everything in this world can be taken away is because it is not real. The only thing that is real is Spirit within. When we create within, it is eternal. When we create home within, that home stays with us and can never be taken away. It stays with us and is projected out everywhere we go. To create from within is to know it is done. When we create within, there is no thought or need of a process because the process that we think needs to happen is a worldly understanding that is not real. With the consciousness of Spirit, everything created is already done and the science in how we are able to see it is Spirit. When creating our home from within it is done. All the peace and stability we seek for in a home is in us and with us always.
